Chibi leveling

So on successful kill on an alpha raptor I find the chibi in use gained not even 1k of exp, so....that means gotta kill over 30 alphas for 1 level? x.x

low lvl alphas do not give much experience, and raptors far less then carnos, carnos less then rexes and so forth

yea it can take a while to level up a Chibi up to it's max lvl of 5 or 6, and the harder the Alpha is the more exp you'll get....but on the flip side mean's a fight that will take a longer time to finish (so something like for example an Alpha Reaper would grant a lot of exp but will take a long time to kill without any charged light)

but maxing out a chibi is worth it for those extra bonus level's to hit the current lvl cap of 155

i've found that if you kill an alpha on foot you get lots more xp for chibi , so i soften them up with a dino if i can then take it down with longneck , shotgun so it dont take ages .

im assuming the creature you may have used to soften up an alpha was a Giga since alpha creature's hardly stand much of a chance against Giga's

i was on SE when chibi came out , so i already had a metal trap for wyvern , soften with a lighning then finish off with cross bow .

In my experience, the only good exp is a level 100+ alpha rex. But I don't turn my nose up at a high level alpha carno. Even a 150 alpha raptor is like, nothing in my experience.

Last time I killed a 135 alpha rex it was sooo yummy chibi exp wise.

If your playing on default difficulty, when most alpha's you encounter are lvl 12 or less.....yeah good luck maxing a chibi out.

This. Hop off and shotgun for the killing blow and max xp.
