How to change ark From EU to GLOBAL

I bought ARK from G2A via gift but i accidently bought the EU version and not Global and now i cant play with my friend what was the hole reason that i bought the game. I wanted to buy it again on steam but i csnt get rid of it i can delete it of my account but when i try to buy it it stills says that i have ark on my steam account.

If you played the game under 2 hours or got it less then 2 weeks ago you can refund it. Then you should be able to buy the other version

2. Ark doesnt have region restricting. We can play from anywhere on Steam. If your friend however isnt on steam then that may be why you cant play because only steam players can play on steam. Steam is a closed platform, ps4 closed, and xbox and win10UWP only version from the microsoft store can play with xbox players.

If your friend has a steam account and you are attempting to play a non dedicated server session with them, there is likely other issues occurring, anything from their failing to properly forward ports, you or they having firewall issues, webroot (must be deleted from comp as it prevents playing), and more. Similar things with regards to other servers as well.

4. Use battlemetrics website to find servers(such as where you and your friend can play(again if they're using a steam ark account too).

we are both on steam. I already tried disabling firewall etc but nothing works. Also when i try to find non-dedicated servers i find 40 dutch or so servers meanwhile he finds 700 global servers. And if we try a dutch server he cant find that server.

Again, Wildcard does not region lock servers. Again use battlemetrics website and login to servers via that system.

Get the server address from your friend for the server they are playing on. Then go to to the steam client, click view up at the top left, click servers in the drop down menu, click the favorites tab, then click add server, there paste the server address you got from your friend. Once you do that, as long as your ark client and mods are up to date with the server, you'll see it the server list infame when you select favorites.
