Best metal/obsidian location on Extinction?

Where would you say are the most metal and obsidian rich locations on Extinction? I prefer the Island, where the metal/obsidian rich nodes are concentrated on mountains. But, when I checked the metal/obsidian maps for Extinction, everything is pretty randomly distributed.
