CANT RIDE ON THE TAPEJARA Saddle

I tamed a tapejara and made a saddle for it but i i cant steer the tapejara with it i can sit on front or backside of the saddle but not in the middle any suggestions?

I thought the regular saddle for the Tapejara was only a 2-seater..
I wonder where I've been for the past 3 years that I didn't notice it was a 3-seater.

idk maybe take off the saddle and put it back on
