But to directly answer the question, like Kitsune said it is hard coded, don't see that changing any time soon (the 255 *in each stat*). If they can't go past a total dino level of 254 that's their own settings.
Question 1: A Mutation gives 2 Stat points, right?
Question 2: If you add 2 to 254, what do you get?
i currently have some allos i've been constantly mutating on the server i play on and have reached 254 melee stat points through mutations. now i leveled the thing only into melee giving it approx another 60 points on top of the 254. i knew there was a chance the stat would break but i wanted to test it. i thought about leaving the allo out for server restart but i decided to cryo it. next day after server restart the allo stat has not changed. i decided to clone it and will leave the clone out tonight for server restart in the morning to see what happens
Both get set back to 0 once you go over 255.
Wild stats are the ones increased by mutations etc , tamed lvls can only be gained by lvling up a stat.
