How many wind turbine do i need?

Hi guys, just starting playing on SE, base locating at 65% wind location.
So can you guys tell me how many wind turbine do I need for my base?
Will I get more electricity if I put down more turbine?
Will all the wind turbine stop together? Or each working differently when it comes to the 65% chance?

Turbines provide enough power for a decent amount of machinery but if the wind drops they all shut down. I use a Turbine and Gasoline Generator, with the Generator activating when the Turbine shuts down.

A Wind turbine will power anything that is connected to it (there is no power limit) within 29 foundations. But building it in 65% Windzone means there will be a lot of power outages, and No more Turbines do not prevent that. As Tachyon said you need a backup generator switched to take over on outage to completely avoid that.
