Doedicurus not auto gathering rocks when set to wander.
I have a tamed doed that just runs into rocks and ingores them, I even tried disabling and re-enabling the harvest setting and he still doesn't gather. Is there a way to fix this? I'm on extinction map btw.

Update: Seems it is the desert biome where the doed can't auto harvest on extinction. We tried him in the center of the map and he harvests as opposed to the desert which is where our main base is located, very unfortunate.

Update2: He will auto harvest the crystals in the desert biome, but unfortunately not the rocks there.

Does he have at least 50% weight? Doeds (and any other self gathering dinos) will stop harvesting materials when their weight becomes 50% of their maximum (in other words, when they get too heavy).

doeds have never autofarmed rocks since i've been playing.. i did have one break a rock on it's own once but figured that was unintentional since it wouldn't break any more..the only way to get it to swing at rocks is to lug it around with an argy and dangle it next to boulders..

Keep the weight down and it'll auto farm. Some servers won't have dinos farming if you're not in range though.

Wander autoharvesting has worked on my cluster for sometime. A tribe on my server setup leashes and a pack of doed's wandering around.

Though I've not checked if its still working in a couple months.

His inventory is empty. I've used doeds in the past, but on this map the doeds seem to not want to mine any rocks with auto harvest on wander.

well it was one of the first things i tried when i found out dinos could gather on their own but it never worked and figured it didn't.. same as the anky not autofarming when dangled from an argy..

The anky has never, and was never intended to. Has been a frequent complaint from the community. I can only speculate it was done for balance reasons.

Look's like I'm not the only one with this issue: https://survivetheark.com/index.php?/forums/topic/381561-doedicarus-auto-harvest-does-not-work-in-desert-dome/

Seems to be the desert biome for extinction. I also tested it by flying the same doed that would not harvest and put him in the center of the map instead of the desert biome and he now harvests. That's very unfortunate as we build our main base in the desert.

Are the rocks that you think they should harvest actually harvestable?

Yes, you get rocks and sand from them. Even the river rocks it wont mine which look more like the normal ones but smaller and don't drop sand.

Having the same issue on Crystal Isles in The White Shoals area.. mines other places on auto harvest. Anyone sent a bug report?

Edited: Posted a bug report/ticket.. see if that gets anywhere
