cant play scorched earth

i bought ark scorched earth but i cannot play it, it is saying that it is in my library but it is also saying that it is in the cart, i have definitely paid for the game, and when i click on the dlc it says installed so i am pretty confused as to what is going on

So it does not appear as a story ARK map on the local/host menu?

it just doesn't load the scorched earth at all, it only loads the original version

It'll do that until you select the scorched earth map, after that the title screen will change.

You've got to go to the local/host menu and under story ARK it'll day scorched earth, double click that and launch single player.

thank you for the help I did that and it worked but, now when I search for sessions to join it is not finding any, also had this problem earlier as well

Then it isn't a scorched earth issue, it's a connection or ARK issue.

Try verifying your files and try again.

So on the steam desktop application, you go into your library, right click ARK and the option should be on the list that drops down.

Or the server filter is wrong if you click join ark you can change the filter at the top. For example if you only want scorched earth PvE it'll only show that kind of servers

it came up with two files failed and will be reacquired, I then hit close because it was the only bar there to click then went to try the game again to find servers and couldn't find any will try it again

still having trouble finding any servers at all none are showing up
