Tamed Titanoboa Food
I tamed a titanoboa, but it's not eating anything, food doesn't seem to go down much, but nothing makes it go up from where it is at ~75%. Do they just not eat?

Maybe they only eat fertilized eggs? Dunno. Haven't tamed one. They don't really seem worth it.
Fertilized eggs for taming.
They eat normal eggs once tamed (dodo eggs are good) have a farm collecting titanoboa eggs :) takes a long time before they give their eggs its real slow

they aren't tamable. but they would eat meat when you forcetame them, just leave it in it's inventory.
They are tamable now.

v265.0
- Huge perf gains, may vary based on system configuration due to upgrading to the latest Unreal Rendering code. After changing your in game settings, be sure to restart your clients!
- Tameable Titanoboas!

@Reodhadh: the latest update made them tameable with fertilized eggs.
Anybody notice how many people respond with obsolete "help"? You'd think after 1 zillion updates folks would review them before passing out advice. There is nothing about this game, it seems, that hasn't been changed at least once (which is not a critical remark).
they only eat eggs unfertilised ones work after taming they get a fair bit of food from dodo eggs so i recommend using them

Lol I especially like how two other people responded/implied that they were tamable before the guy who says they were not tameable.

You would think after reading those the person would think to read the notes or confirm..
I'm struggling to see the point of taming them to be honest. Their eggs are used for taming gigantos (not to be confused with that big b*****d), thylas and dunkeys. Since the latter two can be tamed with prime/mutton, and since gigantos are pretty redundant these days, seems like an awful lot of effort to go to just to tame titanoboas now. Granted, it reduces the tame time for thylas considerably but.... hmm.

No offence but fact everyone seems to be to lazy to tame them means the eggs will still be valuable for trading

What effort? I fly over the swamp area, drop one of the many low-level wyvern eggs I have collected to clear them from the nests and bam I have a nice kibble farm. There is no effort in taming a Titanoboa at all. On other maps, I have tons of fertilized rex eggs that I have not hatched so that is what I use there. We have several people that like to breed for colors with Thylos and others that would prefer to use kibble to tame the monkey man.

It took me 30 minutes to tame 5 titanboas, 10 minutes was spent building a pen to hold them in so I could fly them back to the base after. I don't really care about their level as they are only used for kibble.

With gigantos you can do a thing that nothing else can do, just get a mesopithecus, 3 miner helmets and turn into the GIANT PRIMATE TRAFFIC LIGHT
Thylas in particular benefit from kibble taming. Even raw mutton, which usually suffices in place of kibble for most carnivores, reduces taming effectiveness by a significant amount.

And a completely irrelevant and needless necroing of this thread...
