For some reason I can't make kibble at all. I have thatch as the fuel, a raptor egg, 2 mejoberries, 1 longrass, 1 prime meat jerky, 3 fibre and like 3 waterskins but the kibble isn't crafting for some reason anyone know the solution to this?

there are very good guides on the different items for kibble make-up, personally I use the dododex app on my phone, good for taming times, and also the kibble made from and for each dino (if thats what they prefer)

Is there a restriction on the type of fuel source you can use to make kibble? I know wood will create charcoal which could end up turning into dye, so I tried spark powder and it doesn’t appear to be making any kibble.

I wouldn't think so. I think you can use any fuel source. I haven't played ARK for over a year, but I'm pretty sure I was always using sparkpowder or wood when making kibble.
