The black pearl spawns in the SW of ragnarok.

Has anyone seen black pearl nodes in the sw of ragnarok? Just off the cost of the island the resource map says there should be some there, but I can't find them.

Anyone else have better luck?

Ah I haven't seen or checked out these black pearl spawns yet but my tribe just murder the eurpytids that hang out in viking bay.
Get a decent chunk from that.

I remember seeing them in a video. they are in a sunken ship near the devourer artifact on ragnarok for sure.

If memory serve they looked just like silica nodes but black and shiny all over, instead of white.

Yeah dude they look like the little white pearl nodes but black... around 71 Lat 19 Lon they are scattered amongst the normal oearls and there are some out near the islands. The black pearls at the location i gave go up kinda close to the shore.

You can also find them in the shipwrecks out in the deep

Yeah I ended up finding the ship wrecks out by the devourer. On a 6x server there's over 2k black pearls down there. Its kinda crazy.

can they be gathered with a angler fish like normal silica pearls?

I have not seen any spawns for black pearls and I'm in the ocean all the time. I just get them from squids and alphas, have plenty of them too

No, for some reason the angler fish doesn't pick up black pearl nodes like it does with silica pearls. I don't sea any reason why they wouldn't, but I guess the ARK devs really want to keep black pearls a hard to attain material.

If an angler could gathe them you'd be able to get about 5x as many black pearls from down there, which would be pretty strong.

This is for ragnarok, I haven't checked any of the other maps for black pearl spawns. If you got o the devourer artifact on ragnarok, theres several sunken ships around it that have black pearl nodes in them.

Gathering them is a real risk tho. The water down there is host to all of the deep sea creatures, including: dunks, giant squids, eels, anglers, jelly fish, euryptids, and a couple other things I forgot to mention.

On my server we have S+ mod and tek shields so I gather them under the saftey of a shield generator.

reason will be since they are modded nodes remember WC doesnt directly work on the ragnarok map and its the ragnarok devs that made those unique nodes so was kinda expecting the anglers to be unable to gather them

got a imprinted squid with 90 armor saddle so ill be safe was just hoping i could zoom in with a speedy angler since the black pearl nodes are near my base
