Thorny Dragon Too Weak For Tranqs

Today I decided to check out the new area on ragnarok and noticed there were thorny dragons. I decided I wanted to tame one so I grabbed my wyvern, flew over, picked one up, brought it into my metal taming box and was ready to start tranqing it. So I start using my crossbow when it dies... I was using tranqs on a master craft crossbow. So I was like "damn must have been attacked by something earlier". So I go back find another thorny dragon bring him back to taming pen and guess what. Dead. Both were over lvl 135 and I am 100% sure I was using tranqs. So what the hell?! What am I doing wrong! In my scorched earth playthrough this never happened!

By the way I did drop them off into the pen from about 15 foundations high. But last time I checked your Dino's only take fall damage when your riding them so I don't know about wild ones.

Try LNR and tranq darts?

Stop using the crossbow. Use Tran darts
