Doeds soak up the dmg so u can raid the base and get the gene
He's asking about tanking turrets.....
If mounted -> turtle
If unmounted -> doed, as at 25% hp it curls up and takes an additional 75% reduced damage (used to 100%)
I think you're missing the point here Smittah. See turrets can only have so many bullets, unless a turtle is hit in the head or square in the butt, they take massively reduced damage from all bullets impacting against them. The turtles are sent in as a decoy to empty the turrets before they come in with the main force. All the turtles should be expected to drain all those bullets and most likely most of the turtles will die before the main force arrives.
Ankylos lack the damage reduction of the turtle. The turtle being dropped in is purely sacrificial to empty the turrets. Even plant species X is vulnerable to this tactic, as the plant will eventually run out of fertilizer and die. Once the turrets are drained the mainforce is able to roll in and stomp on every thing as theres no way to refill all those turrets before the main force hits and attacks.
turtle mass breading is super easy
doed mass breeding not
thats the reason we use turtles even if they are on par ...
or just get a big enough horde of any dinotype and send them in to soak bullets :)
A t-rex with 5k hp soaks some bullets too ^^' even 800 dodo's can help :P , its videocard suicide for most players so its probably an even better tactic then a few turtles because your enemy tribe players wil most likely all get a frozen screen and LAGGGG
><
have fun^^
