Stone Pillars to ward Titanosaurs?
Background info:

About a month ago I lost all my tames (100+) to a Titanosaur while I was offline. (I play pve official)

I have 10 high walls all the way around my base with 2 rows of wooden spike walls and somehow it managed to kill my tames without damaging any portion of my base, which I thought was weird. It was really depressing, but I don't mind taking hard hits as long as I can learn something from them and progress.

I have seen some people's bases with a secondary set of walls, primarily composed of Behemoth gates, around the perimeter of their base for warding Titanos and I want to emulate this.

Main point:

Can you use spaced Stone pillars instead of Behemoth gates to reliably ward wandering titanos. I like the idea, because it doesn't stop spawns, and smaller dinos can still go through so I feel it would have a minimal impact on the area around me while still giving the benefit of keeping those unholy creatures away from my tames.

Has anybody implemented this, or had a similiar thought?

At this point a gigga or Titan can not agro your structures or dinos without being attacked by that tribe. So either a person, plants or spikes (I think) will cause agro when/if they damage a Titan. I had one literally glitch into my pen and a friend agroed it and got it out. And I to no damage So now all my walls are 12 high and am making a piller parameter 14 high from stone and wood. Of coarse I don't truly trust other players on pve but almost don't trust Ark not to change the Titan again

AFAIK spikes don't damage wild dinos until they're aggro.

When the spikes don't do damage, they become a step up for large animals.

I've seen titans spawn drop, probably to avoid getting stuck. With that being said, I don't know if pillars would help at all. If you have a base in the area of a titans spawning location then there might not be much you can do.

Wonder if spawning in the sky would stop allos from spawning in everyone's bases.
alot of dinnos do sky spawn but i do the pillers to stop wandering titan and kiteing they should nto spawn within the base it has foundations and such
