Is flying disabled for Genesis

Just tamed a tapejara but I can’t fly on it, it says something like flying disabled on the creatures info. Is it like aberration where you aren’t supposed to fly on a creature?

Yeah they are there is a setting to turn it on agian but cant rember how

In gameusersettings.ini, under [ServerSettings]

bForceCanRideFliers=True

Although, it might be a more fun experience to not fly as it means more exposure to danger and gives you a greater sense of adventure since flying completely overwrites that. Bloodstalkers and Ferox are excellent substitute during this time as well. Just a suggestion.

You technically aren't SUPPOSED to, but they tease you with ascendant saddles and epic X dinos...

Space Whale is much too slow and is really only good for PvP or Lunar Biome Navigation

Once you get a Bloodstalker or a Ferox a flying creature like a Argent or a Ptera is useless and cant keep up.

Rockdrakes and Manager are better. For heavy loads you can use Gasbags.

If you want rockdrakes you going to have to play Aberration.
Only Aberration has the eggs (its not a tame but a hatch), and extinction has corrupted versions spawning (so cant get them there either).

Bloodstalkers have decent carry weight, so I think it should last you for a good while. Just make sure you can breed them as soon as possible. They are a bit easy to lose as they don't wear saddles...thus...no armor for them.
