Dedicated server: friends cant join 'the server not responding'
I try to run a dedicated server with Ark Server Manager. I have portforwarded the ports 7777, 7778, and 27015. In my firewall and my Router.

I updated the server and started it. I see the server in my steam list and I can play in the server but my friends see 'the server not responding.' Server manager availability say: waiting for publication.

I tried to turn of my firewall but no difference.

My router brand is: ZyXEL
the wifi is turned off but the lan is active.

We have another router too for wifi. But my pc is not connected to that internet connection or router. Made a static IP adress (I think) and friends try to log in through my public IP.

no mods are currently running on that server.

Any help will be much appreciated.

I was having similar problems, no amount of port forwarding helped. I had to enable Raw Sockets for people to finally be able to join.

Have you turned off the Windows firewall to see if that is the cause? If you are running windows firewall, you have to open the same ports on your PC. If you do not know how, then you will have to turn it off to see if it is blocking out other players.
Issues with port forwarding are tricky. Typically, the issue can boil down to being incorrectly forwarded or your local firewall (windows firewall) blocking the connection. I've personally had issues with forwarding ports but still would not work until my Windows firewall was disabled.

Also, make sure you are using the correct public IP. We use ipchicken at work and it works pretty well.

Additionally, you'll be able to see your own server because it runs on LAN and does not require forwards as you're not going over the internet.

Have you hosted any dedicated servers from your network before?

I made port forward in the windows fire wall, i have turned off my virus scanner 'AVG'
I cant remember that i totaly turned off the windows firewall. Maybe i can try that.

Are you using any server manager software?

well seeing that you named it ARK 7777 TCP, the solution might be to tell you that ARK doesn't use TCP but UDP

edit: and that you also need to forward 27015 (UDP)

With Raw Sockets you might also have to forward 27016

Looks ok. Your friends might have to use the "Friends" filter while browsing servers to find your server assuming you've joined and are playing.
