Best ARK cave base.. post yours?

Not to sound rude but what is the point of building a base on a 30x server? Why do you feel you really need to protect anything when it's all so easy to gather?

its same game no matter what the gather rate is.. it just takes less time out of your real life.. but mainly for building or larger wars
