Eurypterid
I just wanted to ask what methods people use to deal with eurypterids because i am having some trouble with them in viking bay on the ragnarok map. I feel like they are easy to down but sometimes they get close enough to me to sting me and it seems their poison is even worse than the troodons. Can I counter that by investing more into resistance or do i just have to stay clear of them until i can get a megalodon or some other water creature? I've got 12 fortitude ( which I realize is quite low) and I was wondering if there is a point at which I could stay awake even after they got a shot in on me.

Whilst I have heard of horror stories from Ragnarok, the Eurypterid is limited to the floor (which on the Island map, is the ocean floor). If you can stay above them and out of their reach, they can't do much to harm you. Whilst I haven't used them in a while, I have used an Ichthyosaurus to farm them in the past as they don't recieve torpor (though as said, I haven't tried this in a while).
If you want to get the treasure chest there and have decent oxygen, just go full ghilie and most of the time you can retrieve the contents of the chest without agroeing a single one.

Gonna try the ichthy for sure, maybe it still works. I realized they can't get up to me when I'm swimming above them, but usually several megalos and mantas chase me out of the water and then those euryps are just waiting for me right at the edge, hit me once and then finish the job on land.

Gonna try the ghillie suit as soon as I get my hands on some organic polymer. And you're right, those chests are my main goal! ;) Managed to farm one and it gave me several primitive tools, which at this point is still really helping me out. It's just not worth dying every time ;)
Thanks for the help!
