Quetzal location on Ragnarok?

I'm having some issues trying to find one, anyone knows where do they spawn?

I have seen a few (2-3) regularly flying in the plains the border between the Redwood, Highlands and Dragon Trench. Roughly 25 latitude 75 longitude.

Seen them over the big frozen lake and on the border wall at the highest bit of the Redwood.

I've seen them in several places. Above the western beach and in the river canyon.

Well I've spent the last few hours flying all around Ragnarok (including the new area that just came out) at all different altitudes, and I haven't seen a Quetzal. I even looked in the corners of the maps to see if they were glitched out, or stuck in the corner. Just like Gigas. I have only seen one of those in the 5 weeks I've been on this single player map.

It could be because it is single player, from my experience in single player dinos will despawn if you are not in that area and usually new dinos will spawn when you come back, but not as much when you were first day

One place I have seen Quetzals before is the border between the volcano and viking bay that area

go to viking bay. Look to the "fortress of solitude" up in the mountains. Always a quetz flying around up there. if not there, fly over said mountains and theres one on the other side as well.

If you mean by the fortress of solitude you mean the swamp castle, then that might be a place, although I’ve seen em flying above the scar bordering highlands and the volcano. I’ve also seen one flying low over ice lake, near the volcano and canyon. Try just usin a gryff and killling all the argents you can at the volcano, and then fly out of the area and wait about 15-20 min and fly back in. If your lucky, a Quetz will spawn. I’ve never seen a Quetz on the other side of the mountains for the swamp castle, but I could be wrong.
