giveitem "Blueprint'/Game/PrimalEarth/CoreBlueprints/Resources/
PrimalItemResource_Sap.PrimalItemResource_Sap'" 20 1 false
That will give you 20. It's the quickest and easiest until you get the proper taps up. Your 150 ovis will have despawned in the time it takes to do it right.
I was thinking about that. wasn't sure if they wanted command code cheats though :)
For real? That way all tutorials would be like: "How to get oil fast & easy" "cheat giveitem ....".
You better tell us how to get it on official server, unless you are an admin and u want to give stuff using commands.
The OP knows how to get it the right way and was looking for other legit options.
There is only one way.
On most trees ( not on all ) you can actually put up 4 Taps, all around the Tree. You have to access them once in Order for them to start gathering and they are actually a decent speed. You get what 30 in 10 Minutes? That`s just from one Tap. I think that is totally ok.
In Order to reach them i usually just use a Grappling Hook. You can shoot the Tap directly with the Hook, then pull yourself up and access them. It saves you from building a Tree Platform, but if you need Sap more often you definately should consider building one.
Another way to reach them is with the Tapejera. It might also work with a Griffin, but i am yet to tame one.
Edit:
There is no real reason, to actually have a max level Ovis. They all give the same amount of Fur and the babys will all give the same amount of meat. Only the grown up ones give more or less meat.
So you could look for high health stat ovis and breed them to get very meaty ovis^^
But since he lives on ragnarok i dont get why tame them at all.
Expecialy if you live in the highlands. Just use the houndreds who live there.
