can I have more then 1 tree sap on a tree?

I have 4 sap collecters on a tree but only 2 of them are collecting sap. is something wrong?

you need to see the inventory first of the sap, and then they spawn, but you can wait like 3 years if you never open them the first time then they never spawn until you check

^ this - you have to open the inventory of each tap once BEFORE they will start working

right now its quite buggy. sometimes there is sap sometimes its not. they collect up to 30 but dont work properly. thats why i lost my snails and dont tame new. i agree with weeps. they have the same bug like the dung beetles, you have to trigger them after each server update otherwise they stop making sap. so they have two bugs, you have to trigger them and its still random(2 out of 4 working is not rare). you can get sap by fishing too but its very ineffective even with high quality fishing rods.
