Lowering Foundations

Hey everyone. Just started my own server.Using Structures Plus and Ultra Stacks for Mods. I want to build an awesome raft but am having issues. I watched a bunch of videos of how easy it is. It does not work for me. What is the current method everybody is using? Do I need a Mod? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's a quirk of the vanilla pillar, it won't work with an S+ one.

Make a foundation, snap a pillar to it's center, there is now a snap point both from the foundation, but also to the pillar at it's center, but slightly lower. Rinse repeat, sink foundations.

Or build a barge that you can build a complete base on instead. The raft is better also.

Ok. So if I use vanilla parts it will work? I thought I tried that the first time but I will try again. I did not know the quirk. Thanks
