Soloing Ice Worm Cave

I was thinking about soloing the cave

Any ideas of what to bring
Its a modded server so I got
Acendant Shotgun
Acentdant Sword
And a Acendant Flak chestplate

Anything else that I could bring?
Apart from usual stuff

There are beacon inside the cave, so you could wait for one a bring dinos in like allo or thyla. Got cryopods (or better dino storage v2 mod)?

I just solo’d it for the first time a couple days ago. I took a cryo’d theri, Med brews, food, water, and a pick axe. Not to mention veg cakes to heal the theri and it legit took 20 minutes even with getting a little lost. But if you don’t wanna do it with a Dino then bring full asc or MC fur with a boat load of med brews,asc shield(s), asc shotgun and a boat load of ammo. Def park a flyer at the end of the cave on the outside considering you gotta go out a diff way then the way you came in.

took a bunch of vultures, they rip worms apart faster than a steam forum user can whine (not aimed at anyone here). But that was before cryo pods were a thing. A good shield to take first hit and then its over before it starts.

Oh I was told that cyropods couldn't deploy in the boss fight area ( I was gonna bring a high level Dire bear those guys are ferocious)

When u enter the boss bit at the end it does a scan to check for players and set the boss difficulty I’ve dropped in before on a thyla before and the boss worm didn’t appear

I brought 10 Dimorphs, all of them were 150 tames, as it's very easy to find high levels. They had 3k health and the rest put in damage. Set them to follow on lowest distance and once you get past the invincible barrier set them on aggressive and start walking forward slowly. They will seek and attack the worm before he pops up. It was very easy that way, I have not lost a single one all the way and through the Ice Queen as well. My guess is you can do it with less than 10 easy. All you need apart from that is fur armor and decent shield, although you may never use it inside.
