Now they just need to fix the horrible rubberbanding and other lag issues that have been getting worse and worse since the beginning of the month. I do find this odd particularly because we're seeing a repeat of last years winter update. Back then in the weeks prior to the event (which also promised big optimizations in the patch notes) we saw performance issues just like we're seeing right now. In fact, we see this happen just about every time prior to a pending update containing big performance gains. the thing is, the loss in performance in the couple weeks before the update makes the whole thing a wash and its almost as if they're just fooling everyone into thinking they're hard at work optimizing the game when in reality they're developing more paid dlc.
Now if baby growth rates and the like were boosted...
+1 to this! Thank you Wildcard for making x2 permanent on XP, harvest and taming, this is absolutely wonderful news!
This needs to be done during events. It would also be a good idea to space out time needed between imprints during the event from 4 hours to 6 or 8 hours as the 4 hour time span is very constricting for most players.
i think what they need to do is have random evo events coded into the game and have them put on random timers for a random length of time. Also the events need to be specific to one aspect of the game like 3x taming, OR 3x exp, OR 3x gathering so when you're playing you see an "evolution event popup" and everyone on the servers says "Oh wow! 3x Taming! Let's go tame some right now!" where as currently it is "Hey thats a nice dino, but I'll just wait until the weekend to go tame something."
That's a nice idea, adds variety.

Grinding should never be a replacement for true difficulty, as grinding is not difficult whatsoever. It's simply doing the same boring task over and over for a longer period of time to achieve the same thing.
Dev's best change yet!
