Structures Plus mod uses specific entityID's to identify the objects as part of the S+ mod. Has Studio Wildcard incorporated some automagic code to recognize pre-built S+ structures and entityID's and objects in the map file, or is this update going to need both to run at first, so survivors can convert assets to the new homestead format?
So many questions. Making a backup of server for when all this goes sideways.
Edit: Can't stack foundations either, sadly. That was a function of S+ that I loved.
S+ should work alongside this new update, although expect bugs to occur with some of the structures.
The mod has also gone open-source, so some variant down the line that reduces the mod to the essential S+ features we've all come to love (that weren't included in base-game) are likely to turn up on the workshop.
S+ Mod structures should not 'automatically convert' to the new vanilla structures. They are completely seperate in-game items and for them to be able to 'convert' would cause the original structure's to vanish.
My suggestion would be to leave the S+ mod installed and use the provided converter to switch your vanilla replacements back to vanilla items and prepare to uninstall S+ in the long-run.
Eventually this version of S+ will break completely, and it is best to prepare for this inevitable future while there is still time to do so.
Especially since many servers or SP games likely have quite a few structures built in S+ parts.
I do expect some off-shoot mod to be developed in it's place that will at-least take some of the best parts of S+ and bring them back in full functionality.
PC version if that matters
