Put it in a capsule or break the structure if possible.

Or ask them to unlock whatever door they have on it. Whenever I build a tame trap I always unlock it so others can use it.

If by "trap: you mean base and by "tame" you mean stole then no. Else you are gonna have to negociate the release of it if he wants to.

this is first tame i have done in the game. and i have died like 70 times today. no idea why they litter starting "easy" zones with high level alpha raptors. so i just used someone elses structure.

no. it is a pit of door frames with a ramp that goes into it. i pulled a high level raptor into it and after forever managed to tame it. but didn't matter anyways. a alpha raptor saw me from 3 miles away and engaged FTL and destroyed us both

This is a survival game after all. Even in "easy" zones, there still has to be an element of danger and the threat of death otherwise, what is the point of a survival game? Just about every other survival game I have played, it is possible to die seconds into the game either from another player or the environment. Ark is no different.

Yep, fresh starting on a beach is the perfect level of readyness to tame giant acid spitting millipede that spawns in caves full of spiders, bats, scorpions, megalania and megalosaurs.

Mana starting out on any map is, in my opinion, one of the hardest aspects of the game. Expect to die a lot and focus on just leveling and looking for a spot to call home. Soon as you find your base place and get your bed down things get easier.

I love Ark, but recently I was trying to think of which survival game to recommend to a friend and I started to compare Ark to Subnautica (I know, barely the same genre but when I'm coming up with suggestions I like for the options to be diverse) and something occurred to me: Subnautica is WAY scarier, despite the fact that the world of Ark is almost immeasurably more dangerous. I think that part of the reason that Subnautica is scarier might just be that it's actually less dangerous. There are many things in Subnautica that can kill you, but if the player is cautious and stays alert, they can get through the entire game without dying (though asphyxiation can still be a bummer). Because death happens so infrequently, it makes each death more traumatic and tense. In Ark, dying is so likely at any moment that it becomes something that the player sets up and plans ahead for. When death is part of the plan, things that can kill are less scary.
