Player max level 150 on server, not going past 122

So I found out you need to add 30 levels due to ascensions... so as I was not going past 122 and changed the 150 max to 178 (122+28 = 150 logic would dictate).

My survivor is at 122 with the max XP listed in level[121] and not getting any more XP.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong?

I'd bet you'd still need to beat the bosses to increase the cap. You may have the max level set on the server but to unlock them you'd still need to go to each map and beat the bosses to actually be able to gain xp past a certain point. Unless you did an admin command.

Bugger... I wanted to do this as S+ requires level 135 to unlock all the new tek parts, but we're playing on a single map server so can't ascend.

If you are an admin I bet there is a way to unlock the levels. Also, if you wanted you could just upload your character and tames, etc and switch maps.

You can adjust the level engrams are learned.

Capt, I tried that, doesnt add anything either.

Might resort to lowering the engram levels to 105 or something and just keep standard levels.

if it is single-player, or you have admin access to the server, you can use admin cheat commands to unlock ascension bonus levels without actually doing the ascension fights, see the Wiki:

(beware, this will essentially kill your character and make them drop everything that is on them, so strip naked first and have a bed somewhere for the respawn afterwards, if you want to do this.)

I know about the command, but I'd like all players to be ably to go higher without ascending. I thought ascention would just add 15 levels to what you were on, but it looks like it is hard coded to a certain level.

Its 15 + 15 (2 ascensions).

OK, weird thing... Started up the game today and had 19 levels to unlock. I'm at 138 now so it seems to have jump started somehow. I did several server reboots before so not sure what happened but it looks like it is working now.
