Whats best flyer to steal Wyvern eggs with these days ?

looking into trying to get a wyvern egg for the first time as i have never tried this, i have some details on trap designs for getting milk but not sure which bird i could get away with the egg as i guess it would have to have good stam?

Wyvern or Griffin. Ptera is possible but stressfull^^

It either has to be fast, or expendable. If you are Scorched earth then you really need to go expendable unless you are cheating a flying in from another map. If you are on Rag then Griffin are so easy to get its a no brainer not to use one.

On scorched i used a lev 5 moth... yep real men use moths, but it was leveled up to a lev 7 for the event. place a 1x1 hut on the lip of the trench right over a high nest spawn point, shortest run poss, inside the hut place a box. 3 or 4 bags close but not to close to spawn back to if needed. Then moth into the nest, grab the egg run for the hut jump off egg in box and die within a few seconds. If you do not make it to the box spawn back to get it off your body then box it. Once it is boxed i went on a speeed boosted galli and ran like a flocker all the way home after collecting the egg. So a moth is my answer served me well on several 1st egg runs on different play throughs on SE map.

Griffin. Swoop in to aggro some wyverns, fly straight up with leftover speed to drag them to the ceiling, dive to derender them, rinse, repeat, scoop eggs. Profit.

thats some great info huge thanks for that and i like the sound of the moth with putting the egg in a box which would work well :) . yeah griffin is another bucket list dino i need to get as i never got round to playing on rag, did try scorched years back but trolls and rock giants kinda put me off with the whole kiting into bases etc. so time to go back to rag and start a fresh. thanks again.
