Asking because I had a Megaladon that was born before the patch also asking for the old kibble (which thankfully I have a fridge full of) and I havent tried any breeding or imprinting since the patch yesterday.
was it a mod griffin, or a vanilla one? if from a mod, i suppose the author should update the kibble preferences to use the new ones.
It was not a mod griffin.
I haven't played for a long time, and obviously picked a bad time to return.
Last time I played, you could't even breed griffons without mods, and the OP's comments are about imprinting, not taming.
I agree this latest update is confusing - I have well over 100 dinos, producing eggs, with an S+ collector (and so obviously on a non-official server), but none of them produce the "dinosaur egg" required by the update to make any of the new kibble. The new eggs are stilled labeled as they always have been, i.e., Tek Rex Egg.
Since all of my old kibble retain the name of dino eggs used to make them, the new kibble is completely useless to me, since it not only didn't allow my old kibble to stack, it does not allow me to make any of the new, generic kibble. I can only make the old kibble, which I tired of doing a very long time ago.
