New kibble system not working?
So with the kibble rework imprint kibbles have changed or so i thought but on abberation, we are still getting babies asking for featherlight and raptor kibble which of course we cant make and they wont accept the new kibble that those egg fall under now.

Question for ye @123, the baby you attempted to imprint on, did it come from an egg that was created and hatched -after- the patch, or was the egg created and started incubating before the patch?

Asking because I had a Megaladon that was born before the patch also asking for the old kibble (which thankfully I have a fridge full of) and I havent tried any breeding or imprinting since the patch yesterday.

Just had a griffin get 2% tamed from 1 allosaurus kibble, it should have been over 50% tamed by one kibble according to dododex.. I'm guessing s+ building snap points weren't the only thing that got broken in yesterday's patch.

The kibble system is working fine on the cluster I play on. Check your mods.

was it a mod griffin, or a vanilla one? if from a mod, i suppose the author should update the kibble preferences to use the new ones.

Cryo them when they request imprint, when u pull them back out they should request a different kibble or if u are lucky, just a cuddle.

Griffins require extraodinary kibble now, made from golden hesper, wyvern or rockdrake eggs, really kicking myself for crafting titanoboa kibble instead of extraordinary kibble before this update...

It was not a mod griffin.

The issue for me is that they specifically stated that the old kibble preferences would be maintained at least until players' existing supplies run out, even though we can't craft them anymore. Clearly they have changed more than they meant to with this patch, and I'm not going to lie, it baffles me that they haven't got a functional process for testing their patches prior to going live with them.

I haven't played for a long time, and obviously picked a bad time to return.

Last time I played, you could't even breed griffons without mods, and the OP's comments are about imprinting, not taming.

I agree this latest update is confusing - I have well over 100 dinos, producing eggs, with an S+ collector (and so obviously on a non-official server), but none of them produce the "dinosaur egg" required by the update to make any of the new kibble. The new eggs are stilled labeled as they always have been, i.e., Tek Rex Egg.

Since all of my old kibble retain the name of dino eggs used to make them, the new kibble is completely useless to me, since it not only didn't allow my old kibble to stack, it does not allow me to make any of the new, generic kibble. I can only make the old kibble, which I tired of doing a very long time ago.

The way the eggs work now is that all eggs fall under a size. so ur dodos will still say dodo eggs but they count as a small or extra small egg not sure but thats how that works.
So our new dinos birthed yesterday are still asking for the old kibble, i dont know what else to do.
