It's literally in the patch notes. It lists what creature eggs make what kibble and what the preferred kibble is for each creature. So yes, if Rex eggs make Exceptional kibble and a Rex's preferred kibble is Exceptional kibble, then logic dictates that you can use a Rex egg to make kibble that can tame a Rex.
It just seems like a little bit op update after I’ve been doing kibbles out of different egg types for each dino... Taming will be way easier now.
