windows 10 ark split screen
i read a couple places that you can play split screen on xbox version and the windows 10 because they are the same build and i figured it might be fun to get my girl to play since she doesnt have a gaming comp so i got a free 10 day trail for the gamepass and downloaded the game and couldnt get the split screen to work so my question is has any one been able to figure out split screen on any of the pc versions of ark

there is ZERO ways to split screen on the computer, with ARK.
It was been tested, tried, and found, that it is IMPOSSIBLE to do so- no matter what Microsoft or the Dev's claim.

Or it involves the windows 10 store, and well, no one uses that so...

how come a crappy xbox one can do split screen for ark but my gaming computer cant?

ive watched like 10 videos of people playing split screen on ps4 and xbox and read that it would be on pc to because the windows 10 and xbox one are the same build so just still confused

if it is possible you will have start singleplayer or local server connect a controller or gamepad and press start it should split screens if that dont work im afraid youre out of luck

yah i tried that a couple times because thats how they do it on xbox but cant seem to get it to work. when i plug in a controller it just becomes the main control of the game instead of the keyboard and mouse and i tried adding another one and it didnt make a diff im about to give up lol

Splitscreen was supposed to be in at release of the Win 10 version. It's been "coming in a future update" ever since: https://survivetheark.com/index.php?/forums/topic/289895-win-10-splitscreen/

they havent even fixed bugs from launch so dont expect to ever see this feature.

There is nucleuscoop which does this splitscreen thing for many games. May be tricky sometimes but if you really want to play something... you can. Search for it.

I dont understand how people can be so sure about what they are talking.

Gonna deep dive on nucleuscoop, if not for this maybe for something. I hadn't heard of it before.
