There is nucleuscoop which does this splitscreen thing for many games. May be tricky sometimes but if you really want to play something... you can. Search for it.
I dont understand how people can be so sure about what they are talking.
Gonna deep dive on nucleuscoop, if not for this maybe for something. I hadn't heard of it before.
