Organic polymer?
And I find that ... where, exactly? Or produce it from something how?

Much like everything else you should figure it out for yourself, but it is a drop from only a few creatures and it can not be produced. It is an alternate for another material so it can be used in place of something else on some recipes. But any recipe that specifically requires organic polymer will only use organic polymer.

Dododex (site or app) can help you out. Or even the ark wiki

Actually, there is a creature that can produce Organic Poly. Which are snails, although the rate is pretty low that it's not really worth using snails for only organic poly instead of paste.

There are few sources of organic polymer, but the two biggest sources are Mantis and Penguins. Mantis gives tons of organic poly, but don't spawn on all maps. Penguins can give tons of organic poly if you farm their corpse with a bat or sword (baby penguins give way more than adults). Some people breed penguins and then kill the baby penguin for organic polys (yes, it is messed up, but it's efficient.)

There's a plant that looks like a bird of paradise that produces organic polymer. Not sure if that's on all maps.

I believe aberration has a poly plant, but you have to go into the deep rad to get to it. Not seen any plants on other maps with this yet, though i have not tried all modded maps.

Penguins, hesperornis, tamed snails and mantis are the most reliable sources for organic polymer.

Gacha's can also produce Organic Polymer. The best source however is a Karkinos.

it is true that the karkinos does give a ton of organic polymer when killed...but thats easier said then done given how tanky they can be, BUT if your playing on extinction there's another form of organic polymer called corrupted nodules and you can easily get ton's of those just because of how close together the corrupted tend to be
