Is it possable to get the TEK shield on Extinction?

I was reading the wiki and it say's its possable, But I see nothing that drops it?
Also; Has anybody had issues with getting Rock Elementals to spawn? We have killed off the ones that started with the server, but none have spawned since.

Tek Shield is an engram you learn by killing a Boss. Not sure where you think it should 'drop' otherwise.

Rumor has it the tek shield can be learned by killing the desert titan. I cannot confirm since I havent done it, but one of the other two titans definately unlocks the tek sword.

according to wiki the forest titan drops tek sword tekgram

I would trust this more than rumors, probably someone meant that you can transfer character with tekgram unlocked.
