Stuck at Installing Mods

I had to reinstall Ark because it just wouldn't launch.
But then when I reinstalled I left it launched for hours so it could install my mods I had, but it never did.

So I then tried to validate all the folders and finished that, and still didnt work unfortunately.

Last thing I tried was deleting the mods folder in \Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Content\Mods then validate again, and still won't install at all.

Is there something I'm doing wrong here?

Hours later, and still says installing in the bottom right of the screen of Ark.
Would really appreciate help, I'm unable to play with any mods right now.

are you talking about timing out when trying too join an unofficial server ?

if so, this is normal for ark as there is a set time limit for connecting before you get this message, when this happens, i alt tab, check my downloads in steam and wait for that mod too finish downloading, i then alt tab back to ark, exit back too the main screen, and try to rejoin again, rinse and repeat for all mods needed, once all mods have installed through ark, you will be able too connect too the server with out any dramas.

first install the mods THEN run ARK and connect to the server.
If that still wont work just unsubscribe the mods, delete and re-install ARK and THEN install mods. DO NOT install through ARK but via subscribing in the workshop, your game will update and download automaticly

that is all fine and dandy, if you know what the mods on the server are. most servers have no mod listings...

so you can follow that, or follow the info i gave you that works 100% every time.

I'm talking about just going into single player, the mods have downloaded as far as I know, and it just says installing when I launch Ark in the bottom right of the screen, like how it usually is when they 'install'.
I'm not trying to join any server. I just can't put mods in my game in the Single Player.
