Ragnarok End-Game on Single PLayer...

So, I've reached my limit on Ragnarok; I've gotten the artifacts and cleared all 3 Ragnarok arena fights (Gamma, Beta, and Alpha). I've also cheated to get the TEK engrams by using admin commands to manually spawn in the bosses individually, prior to the Rag arena fights, just so I could get to use the TEK armor and Fabricator. Again, I have to make mention that this is all on my single-player session.

So where do I go from here? I have a few questions I want to ask about ascension, but I know for a fact that Ragnarok doesn't have an ascension path like the Island, Scorched Earth, Aberration and Extinction do...as those 4 are considered canon. My questions:

-Is there such a thing as 'ascension' in Ragnarok?
-Does 'ascension' mean travelling to another map?
-Will my base and dinos be fine in Ragnarok if I were to move to another map?
-How exactly do I go to another map, besides manually starting another session on a storyline map (like, The Island)?
-Will I have to delete the file on The Island if I already started an individual single player session, independent of my Rag session?
-If I do travel to The Island, and log out, do I have to manually enter The Island single player to get back to that session or enter the Rag session to get back to my progress on The Island?
-How often can I travel back and forth between maps?
-Probably a repeat of question 3, but, will my base and dinos on Ragnarok still be there waiting for me when I return back to Ragnarok?

This has probably already been discussed before, but, to be fair...this is the first time I've gotten to the end-game stuff on my own on Single Player. So...what awaits me then?

Ascension gives you 15 extra levels (island and aberration, total 30 levels)

I always suggest making redundant backups of your saves folder. But you can transfer around SP maps just like on servers. The maps (and structures) are independent save files.

So...how does one "ascend?" What are the exact actions I need to do to "ascend?"

The Island has an ascension cave.
Aberration has Rockwell boss fight.

You cannot from Ragnarok. You have to transfer your character to other maps. Or cheat ascend.

I gotcha. So, since I started a separate session on The Island prior to restarting my session on Ragnarok, should I delete the separate save file on The Island before switching maps from Rag to Island?

Before you do anything. BACKUP the whole folder.

Its up to you if you delete or not, there are several ways to approach this. They involve manually moving save files around.

When you say "backup the whole folder," you mean this folder?

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved
