What's the easiest way to configure a server so that you can learn all Engrams?
AFAIK, under default settings, it's impossible for a single character to learn every available engram before he hits the level-limit and runs out of engram-points. Buuut I think that's stupid, and the other players on the server I'm running tend to agree. So I want to fiddle with the .ini's to ensure that this isn't a problem. Ideally, by the time you peak, you should be able to buy every engram - including SE, Extinction and Aberration-specific ones.

There are probably several ways to do that - increasing engram-points per level, increasing max level... other stuff too, I expect. Frankly, I can't quite find my way around all the settings in the .ini's yet, especially with the way some values are 'reversed' (higher means lower, lower means higher) while others aren't, in no particular pattern.

So, can someone more experienced throw me a simple set of lines to alter/add to one of the .ini's to do what I need?

There is auto learn engrams code.

I prefer the mod that removes screen spam and has a toggle for tek engrams.

There aren't enough points to learn everything.
You'd have to also have custom levels, which is a crap tonne of codes to add. There are sites and programs available to generate them and Google can help because there are some posts on here that have lists of the codes.

Game.ini

[/script/shootergame.shootergamemode]
bAutoUnlockAllEngrams=true

automatically learns every engram according to the actual player level.

else you would have 2Lines per Playerlevel in the Game.ini to define LevelXP and LevelEngramPoints and that is *i'm missing a vomiting smiley now*

Hmm... well, first of all, what exactly is the advantage of that massive 'engram unlocks' copy-paste from Reddit, compared to just using the AutoUnlockAll line mentioned above? I assume there's SOMETHING, otherwise why bother?
Second... both options seem perfectly serviceable, but... I know it's irrational, but I'd miss that visceral joy that comes with manually unlocking the engrams you want. And, well, I don't have a problem with not being able to unlock every engram the moment you hit the required level. Prioritizing is a valuable skill. What if you just added levels, so that you could continue to gain them - and thus Engram Points - after 100 where new Engrams stop unlocking? Well, from what you're saying, that's the COMPLICATED solution. But maybe I'll poke around and see if anyone's made a mod for it...

Yes, its complicated but ultimately fun and rewarding too, as with a bit of effort(and lots of time!) you can fully customise not only your engram points, but also character and dino level ramps also.

I use custom levelling and although its a pain in the arse to set up, once done it flows better with how we play on the server.

The easiest way is to just enable bAutoUnlockallEngrams=True, a couple other ways are allow more character levels to give more engrams or edit all engram points awarded for lvls 1-135 to be enough to unlock all engrams (more if you have modded items in the engrams that require lots of points). Both adding levels and editing the engram points can take time and be prone to mistakes editing long lists in the ini, while the first option is just one line and autolearns engrams as you level.

You can add more engrams points per level, so that the engrams still have to be unlocked manually. Steam has a guide section with lots of guides for how to do stuff like this.

Here is an example. You don't need the extra levels, but it shows the code for engrams. There are other guides on this.

Huh! I guess I should've figured that a game as moddable and configurable as ARK would have guides for setting it up, not just playing it. I'll take a look, thanks!

Copy and paste this into your Game.ini. This will enable you to learn all engrams by the time you are max level. This will get you to level 105, you can see how to add on past that if needed.

or u can add custom levels on ark server manager but u gotta add 30 levels for assension so since s+ newest things are unlock and level 135 so i had to add up to 166 in asm under custom levels tab in asm and i ialso have the unlock all engrams turned like other people said. but for ini i really dont mess with it.

The lines of codes ARK has to parse and with every line being another source for an error...
The Reddit Codes are very useful if, for example, you want to enable SE or AB Engrams on Extinction but without autounlocking everything else. Or to unlock a certain Engram earlier as the usual Level.

Ah, right... flexibility. Actually, that IS pretty handy. If I'd thought of that, I could've saved myself the hassle of temporarily transfering my character to Ragnarok just to learn the SE imprints. :P
