I can't find any Quetzal/Giggas on my server Please Help!

So ive been playing on my server with two friends and we have not seen any gigas or quetzals as of yet could anyone help us out?

its a dedicated server and ive wiped once after 2 hours of looking for quetzals

Just use the Tek Transmittor S+ and scan for them.

are you looking in the right place? gigas are tough to find, quetzals you have to be in the right areas and aroud "x" height above the trees to see them, I have noticed they have a very short render range as well. quetzals i mostly spot them in southern area by red and green beams. They do seem to spawn in northern area but i haven't noticed any specific spawn area.

I was killing them for 2 weeks before i saw one that was the lvl i wanted to tame.

No but it gives you tek transmitter and that has an option to tell you where dinos are

But i cant make it yet i need metal and i need to kill bosses to get it thats quite expensive

You changed the amount of dinos?
If you go lower than default that can mess up some of the rare spawns.

Just got the same problem on my server... Using Transmitter to look for them, but nope.

As an admin trying to solve spawn problems you really should spawn in the s+ tek transmitter, so you can troubleshoot the problem. It can be removed when you are done.

If u r an admin just spawn it in. Delete it later if you solved your problem

i spawned it in but there are no quetzals its greyd out

I have never used that tek, i use the mod dinotracker. if it works the same way it won't show you anything unless you are within a certain range.
best you can do is fly between the red beacon and the green one on the southern area(the island) , about10 foundation lengths above the trees, but not above the swamp areas and you are likely to run into a quetzal or two.
