Baby Imprinting Questions ( Server )
Me and my friends have been trying to raise Dinos on my Server. Currently, we can't do any Imprinting because I guess I can't figure out how these settings work.
I've changed them from high to low and nothing changes them.
I understand that when you change the settings, already hatched Dinos will not be affected. We've been testing these settings with Lvl10ish eggs.
ALWAYS, the game lets the baby grow up faster than it wants care. The babies always seem to want care in 5 hours. Babies grow up just before you can imprint.

Current Settings:
Egg Hatch Speed: 6
Baby Mature: 25
Baby Imprint Stat Scale: 4
Baby Cuddle Interval: 0.6 (I've changed this one from 0.6 all the way up to 30 with no change.)
Baby Cuddle Grace: 4
Baby Cuddle Lose Imprint Speed: 1

You want your cuddle interval lower, not higher. Start with something around 1/25th (see how that's related to your mature speed), so .04. Tweak it from there, by small amounts.

ALso, it's going to depend on what dino you're trying to imprint. Naturally faster maturing dinos, i.e. the smaller ones, will have a hard time getting a full imrpint even with better adjusted settings. Bigger dinos will be fine, so that's really where you want to adjust for.

Edit: You need to think of it this way, the default, 1.0, imprint interval is 8 hours, so .6 would be 60% of that, hence your 5 hour time. Cuddle interval is a multiplier of the default value.

Changing imprinting settings is a ballancing act between maturation and cuddle interval, i believe there are calculation to get this more or less ballanced.

But generally speaking if you lower the cuddle interval, you should be able to get more imprints in.
I believe my previous settings where mature speed @ 40 and cuddleinterval @ 0.1, this resulted in baby's growing up in generall speaking 1h with 2 imprints. It gets a bit tricky with lower end dino's, depending on what the end result is your looking for, you might have to settle with no imprints on say a dodo or dilo sized creature.

And just to add it the S+ Nanny imprints as a dino grows regardless of the interval settings, allowing you to completely ignore the setting and just aim for a decent growth time.

I'll try setting this down. Currently, I'm trying to get an Alpha Fire Wyvern with a good Imprint tame.

With the current time, Dinos grow up before we can do anything. Nanny's don't work. Hopefully with the advice above yours, I'll be able to get them down. I did forget about the Nanny, though. That will be helpful. :)

As said above, lower
Baby Cuddle Interval to something like 0.03 - 0.035

About Baby Imprint Stat Scale, make it 1, 2 at most. At 4 will make the dinos stupid stronger and ruin the game. Ie a ptera with 100% imprint will have 180% speed as base if you keep it at 4.

Ruin the game for you. If they want that to be their stat scale, that's their decision. Their preferences don't have to match up with yours.

This. Especially considering OP posted they're trying to get a good Alpha Fire Wyvern imprint means they're already playing with some hopped up dino mods.
