Shell Fragments not grinding?

Anyone getting any luck with grinding these down with S+ Grinders? It's supposed to be a 1:50 ratio to chitin but no dice.

just tried myself , no dice , might be that S+ grinder dont recognize it since dev kit isnt out ?

maybe only works with default grinder ?

I presume Shell Fragments are a new Genesis resource type?
S+ has not been updated since July and the Genesis dev kit isnt out yet.

The grinder literally doesn't know what the hell the item is. As far as S+ is concerned it will never know what it is as the author has made very clear that they are done with Ark Modding.

if you want an update, when the dev kit comes out (no eta), then migrate to Super Structures.

Use SuperStructures instead. S+ is basically abandoned now that it's partially integrated into ARK itself.

The integration isn't really related. Orionsun continued making several large patches to S+ after homestead. More that they got bored of it and had other things in their life that they wanted to focus on.

Why are they done? As in why is the author finished with the mod?
Because its a thankless task and the forums are full of whining children with a sense of entitlement and it is truly draining doing that without pay.

Also based on prior threads they seemed to indicate they had lost the passion for ark and had moved onto other games.

Ah makes sense. Modding for Ark is also propably a pain in the ass too

S+ is no longer updated right?
This won't update. I think it's the legit Grinder that provides you 1:50 Shell to Chitin ratio but S+ Grinder has no such option because it won't get updated to it.
