Volcano eruption time?

Does anyone know how often the volcano erupts? Trying to time going in and out of it but I can’t find the time in between eruptions anywhere

Imo Genesis volcano does not really indicate very well when it is actually erupting. It's almost constantly rumbling something. Sometimes it spews fiery rocks and sometimes it just does the rumbling but nothing happens and sometimes its the eruption.

Inside the volcano you get a warning that shows you it is about to erupt. But when you are outside: Nothing. Just sudden death.

Note that using Magmasaur gives you full immunity to eruption, just not the fiery rocks that fall down on you. Avoid the rocks.
Though personally I think Magmasaur really isn't worth it. So long maturation timer even with 5x rate and the food spoils in an hour (unless you have preserving salt which only doubles the timer) so you can't even leave it out for the night to grow.

I know the auditory signs I just wanted to know if anyone knew how long in between eruptions you had

Good question. It could be random?
If you get the signs, cryo your dino and teleport out unless near an exit. Works every time. I think you get a brighter orange glow before countdown, but needs more investigation

Magmasaur is really worth it for metal gathering!!

I stoped the time once. these values might be random but it should give you a rough idea:

Time between Eruptions: 31:30 min
warning time before Eruption: 1:40 min
Duration of Eruption: 4:00 min

It would be awesome if you could tell when it erupts by pressing H and watching the clock. Like you can see on aberration when the surface will be burning, but i dont think you can. The vulcano is supposed to be feared.
