Enjoy, works on singleplayer as well ;)
It's not that the map has broken elements to it with flyers, and we can literally just TP anywhere with HLNA - Still can't shake the feeling that i'm "cheating" even though without the ini. line i wouldn't even play the map/expansion.
Here's to hoping they have flyer riding enabled in part II
The .ini files simply contain settings you changed in the game, they just dint add a visual switch for it yet. There really is not need to feel like your cheating, there are very little .ini settings that don't have a checkbox or slider in-game these days.
So dont feel bad about using them, they will most likely get a spot on the configuration list in game some time soonish.
Not because it makes sense, although from a design perspective it most likely does despite any personal feelings, but simply because we now seem to have the ability to toggle flyers on and off on other maps with a simply .ini line/gui switch.
And even though i had a strong feeling about it initially, i can see the benefit of having the ability to toggle flight for certain types of play sessions.
