Bloodstalker taming issue

Anyone figure out a way around this yet? since ghille doesn't seem to work

You need to have blood packs on your tool bar. When the bloodstalker latches onto you it will drink the blood packs instead of killing you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0K-d5yS0ps

not much to it, put crap load of blood bags in passive atming spot, have plenty more on inventory get close to get snaches and let it tame itself.

only problem is the surrounding, i had wasps attacking me during the feed process lastnight killing me because you can't defend yourself while it feeds.

it does the same to me and others, hit 100% and keeps going when you hit 1000% it tames.

its legit just a random amount, its never the same for 2 bloodstalkers, a 140 took over 200 blood packs and didnt tame another 150 took only 71

Bug repellent+ghillie after it grabs you might help, but I haven't tried it yet.

Wiki also says you can knock it out too. Though I am guessing that may be a lot harder unless you have someone to help with maybe a bird on private server.

People need to realize that lvl 75 bloodstalker on 5x rate needed a little under 450 blood packs. You can somewhat imagine how many blood packs you are going to need for Officials for example. And the answer is r-tarded amount of a lot.

Did you feed it dinos first to get the effectiveness up?
Isnt that supposed to drop the required blood pack amount.
Also did you tame it AFTER they nerfed how much they needed? Because I tamed before the nerf and it was just stupid.

i tamed it today and no, i didnt feed anything to it, but a 140 took over 200 and didnt tame up, also today, its super bugged rn
