Default difficulty for genesis?
Good day, can someone tell me what the max level for wild dinos on official genesis servers is?
On my own server wild dinos spawn at level ~79 max so i was wondering if that is default or too low since normally it is 150 on other maps (only played island on official servers)

I believe most if not all officials are set at 5.

This is a bit misleading, as difficulty is always set to 1.

If your using ASM simply set the max dino level 150.
If your using a regular SteamCMD server, the following settings should achieve it:
DifficultyOffset=1.000000 <- GameUserSettings.ini below the [ServerSetting] line ?OverrideOfficialDifficulty=5.0 <- Command line option, aka used in your start.bat file

For rented server, you might have to mess around a bit more, i dont know how every single one works.

Try a wild dino wipe, fresh servers tend to get the wrong range when first started.

Yea I got a rented server and there the default is/was offset: 0.5 and difficultyoverride: 0 which is 5 I assume at this point ( I just set it to 1 and 5 respectively to get level 150 dinos in the future)

Sounds right yeah. 0.5 would explain the high 70s dinos.

That should do it yes, it depends on the host and software how its named, this is why i felt the other part needed a bit of clarification ;-)

Once you adjust the DifficultyOffset and OverrideDifficulty restart your server. Once server is restarted use command cheat DestroyWildDinos. This will destroy all current dinos on the map and allow the new dinos to spawn and they should be spawning in 5 lvl increments.
