Do i need Hexagon to survive and have fun on Genesis ?

I mean, Cryopods for 500 hexagons and HLNA can save your butt in a pinch. Don't HAVE to have them but you'll find some things are pretty convenient.

U also can't move tames between biomes without cryopods

if you find a glitch (which are effectively explorer notes on this map) you do get 1k hex's from fixing them

False. Just ask HLNA to teleport you with tames inside your TP bubble. Works fine for me.

True but that way you're risking losing your tame by it accidentally not teleporting with u or getting stuck underground

But they are limited and not give a bunch like normal mission .

I've seen some missions that sounded easy like hunting Megaloceros for 5k pts on easy 11k on medium and 30k or smthn on hard, u can check the missions on genesis far to the right from the engrams tab

Missions disabled? Sounds dumb considering they're suppossed to be the main selling point of the dlc

Mission disable in exchange for flyer enable , full tek suit and build everywhere....

Considering its still rather new, i have not yet had the oppertunity to test it, but i recon boss fights wont require the missions on these servers.

As for the hexagons, there not really required, from what i have seen so far you can finish the content without it. The one and only exception atm would be the replicator, but there working on implementing it in other ways then loot crates.

In short without missions the map might actually provide an interesting challenge, other then over spawning creatures in the bog ><

Ah, there is a catch. If you want to fight the end boss, you have to have XXX number of missions done. So, disabling the missions will disable the end game without cheats.
