Genesis Volcanic area water?

I must have missed them, i only saw the ones with the oil rocks on them and i couldn't drink out of those.

There might be different types of pools around the map then.
I've noticed that sometimes, I have a hard time drinking while standing in the water there, but if you use a canteen/waterskin/water jar, it works just fine and refills your water and the container.

you can also find quite a few water jugs running around if it comes to drinking.

lol ok maybe i just had crap luck last night. I was looking for them and all i found was oil bugs. after 35minutes of running around dying i kinda gave up.

if you get your hands on a bloodstalker they are more easy to see because bloodstalkers give you hunter vision

I was thinking of moving my base somewhere else since I can't get those damn swarm's to bugger off....however I have no idea if there is a good place in the volcanic region to build at since most of it has uneven terrain and packs of predator's everywhere

occasional bugs..or a furnace. personally i prefer the bugs. being thirsty all the darn time is annoying. more so than bugs that only bother you once in a while if not inside a building.

why dont you build in the ocean biome? there are no leedsychtis on genesis, so you can even build a raft as a base below one of the teleportation points.
if you can adapt to uneven terrain, there is also a absolute safe tunnel very close to arctic NE. if you spawn there, look to the left and follow that path. keep your eyes on the right wall and you will eventually find a tunnel with 2 entrances and iirc even a water source in it for garden stuff.
arctic NE is also the best fishing spot i found so far (lunar caves included)

I saw one just last night and it was breaking rafts left and right, i barely dodged it myself and grounded by raft against an island.

They very much DO spawn there!

mhmm, it's just that those massive fish are deep underwater so your not so safe

oh, thats weird. i live in the ocean biome and swim around alot with my basilosaurus army and didnt see a single one. so i thought they dont exist in genesis. sorry for that false information.

Yes you can drink out of all those areas, Ive done many times including those ones with oil rocks on them. Maybe try again. There's actually several water spots i've seen to my surprise.

just to ask....is there a good spot at the volcanic region that's safe-ish (or good enough) to set up a base in?
