I can't ride my Dino!

I started playing on the Genesis map. I tamed the Pteranodon and put a saddle on it. However, I can't sit on it, I only have the option to look at its inventory, as if the saddle is not worn at all! There is no such problem on other maps, only in Genesis.

genesis appears to be a no fly zone. best you can do is tame them and use them as carry birds.

but it is pretty lame that they have birds but we can't use them.

From the patch notes regarding genesis and flyers:

- Unofficials can now using flying creatures by adding the following setting to your GameUserSettings.ini under the [ServerSettings] section: bForceCanRideFliers=True

\Steam\steamapps\common\ARK\ShooterGame\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\

If you right click ark in your library, navigate to manage -> browse local files. You will start off in the ARK folder.

I found the right file, but for some reason I can't find the right line in it. I searched both manually and using search, copying what You said. If flyers are not allowed, then how do you move around Islands in the Ocean area? Islands there are located high from the water, not every Dino will get.

bForceCanRideFliers=True

Below the line:

Its not there by default i think ¿ have not actually looked if it was i just added it as soon as the patch notes came out :S
