Tek or Volcano rex for breeding

Hi all. Now play genesis and got question about breeding. What give more profit, breed tek rex or x?

Profit? Lol I personally still suggest tek but I'm still working on my own comparisons and game science. From what I hear the x dinos are only buffed in the wild and are the equivalence of a normal dino after tame so if that's true then the tek rex would still be what youd want for endgame (like bosses.) But, again, I'm still working on my own comparisons. I'm super interested to hear if anyone else has more info on this matter tho owo

Considering that Tek Rexes can (emphasis on can) spawn in at higher levels, it would be easier to get decent base stats on a Tek Rex then an X Rex.

For that reason alone i would consider the Tek Rex being a better creature to breed with, but that is not taking any variant buffs into account if there are any at all for X-dino's, like Dragon mentioned it seems the X-Dino become regular dino's when tamed unless this was changed recently.

That's true, I forgot about the tek levels being higher as well.

X Dinos become normal Dinos with Aberration-like stats, as far as I can tell. So basically you will waste approximately 3x as many tranqs and therefore time to gather ressources, taming other creatures, etc. to get what is basically an Aberration creature with a -I'll give credit to that- awesome skin
So yeah, I'd stick with the Tek Dinos, especially considering the fact that they spawn in abundance in the lunar biome
