Can You Beat Genesis Boss w/o Tek?
Every single youtuber is using Tek and said something along the lines "I couldn't figure out how to damage the boss once the Dinos stopped dealing damage. Eventually figured out Tek Damages it."

I'd like to know if you can use normal non tek weapons to do this?

(They unlock the Tek Replicator for you when beating the Gamma boss... which means they knew you weren't going to have Tek if you are on a non transferrable server and what not. So that would make no sense if you could only beat it with Tek.)

Yes, I used my mutated rexes and a 400% damage ascendant shot gun. Its different than other bosses, it only takes damage during certain stages. Its not just attack and kill like other bosses.

To explain the fight a bit
To start you have to get 80 code keys from normal enemies in the arena and deposit them at the console. You have to do this stage 3 times. Then you have to gather 40 code keys and deposit them. Now the boss will be able to be hurt for a minute or until he takes a certain amount of damage (the pump shotgun works great here) then you have to repeat that 3 more times

You can also get the Replicator currently from the Tier 2 loot crates. Devs say it's only temporary so grab em while you can! Guaranteed drop.

Is it only in Tier 2? I tried Tier 3 loot crates and bought like 1000 in singleplayer... didn't get a single one.

Bought 2 Tier 2 so far on my server, both had replicators...

Its in tier 3 also, I got one from each of the 4 I bought
