Ferox Bugged
Is it me or is the Ferox bugged ? for example the first time I got this guy from the cave in the arctic map (cave next to a quest thingy, that is filled with bears and ferox) I was like yeahh, lets try this guy out. Gave him element, he transformed and I started exploring once the bar that shows you how much time you have in that form reached zero he transformed for a second in his small form and then back in big guy mode were he remained stuck with depleted bar. The more I used him the more bugged he became like when I jumped, at a point I started to go higher and higher (like gravity wasn't a thing). Another thing was he was stuck following me, no command worked on him or I couldn't upload his data to the ark. He was next to the beacon yet in the creature tab he wasn't showing... so in the end I decided to kill him. The next guy I got somehow glitched trough the world, after a fight I forgot to replenish him with element so I died but somehow he made it. I went back to my body only to find out he wouldn't respond to my commands and was stuck, I hit him with an axe trying to make him move only to find out he somehow dropped trough the terrain and was gone. I also wanna touch on the fact that you can tame this guy with 2 berries ? is that legit or another bug ?

I had pretty much the same issues with a tamed Ferox. I tamed two (female and male) and no matter what I did, bugs just kept happening. It started with the taming itself. ARK Wiki tells you to tame it in its small form via. Element - but no matter how many times I gave the little thing Element, nothing happened. The taming bar remained all empty. So, in the end I decided to try it via. knockout tame and berries (like Dododex tells you to do) and I was able to tame a Level 50 Ferox with just one Majoberry. They claim that this method is legit, but I wouldn't be so sure about that either... after all the things I have seen now with that creature. xD

But yeah, as said - I had the same issues with the Ferox. Endless flying up whenever trying to jump (fixed it by cheating me back to the ground and then re-starting the game), Ferox doesn't listen to your whistle, yaddah yaddah.
Right now I am stuck with my female Ferox just.. well, being stuck in its mutated form. I tried cryo chambering it, tried it with a transmitter, hitting it, knocking it out. Nothing seems to fix it.
The male which managed to go back to its small form isn't bugged at all. Everything seems fine with it.

You are literally forced to wait for your Ferox to turn back into its normal, small form until you can exit the game. Cuz leaving it in its mutated state and exiting the game at the same time seems to bug it out.
The first time this bug happened, I ended up feeding the mutated Ferox with more Element. It fixed the issue.. once. But not a second time.

Let’s just hope they fix this thing soon-ish.

Not sure if this is patched and fixed yet but just a day or two ago I went to Fro-Zone mission cave to tame max level Ferox and could not Tranq it to tame with Mejos. So I tried the Feed Element in 0 slot way. It ate one Element then got big so I ran away until it got small again. Fed it another Element hoping to tame it but it just got big again. Repeated this for about 20 times and never saw the Tame bar ever get passed 0%. Is the KO and Mejo way removed for taming and is the Element way to tame still bugged? Hope they fix it.

Yes they announced on twitter before the patch that Mejo taming (knockout taming basically) was getting fixed. As a result it seems that for a lot of people it bugged out regular taming as well, witch wasnt working perfect to begin with.

I personally expect it to be fixed with the next patch this week, as its a tame that is in high demand atm (much like any new tame tbh).

*edit: you found the other topic i see :-P
