Non-grindable items

Has anyone found a way to remove the grinder restrictions on items with the new circle with a line thru it icon?

I'm not sure I understand the logic behind making saddles, gear etc un-grindable. Is that to force the Hex shop, force doing missions... I don't get the reasoning that went into this.

Should we simply popcorn everything we wont use and cant grind?

I'm looking for a line to put in a game.ini or other place to lift this ignorant restriction...

Mods that replace those vanilla items would be my bet.

They put that in as it was kinda cheaty

I don't think that will work, on one of my games I use several mods like the awesome spy glass, awesome teleporters, enhanced mek, and better tek armor. And those things have the icon now too and can no longer be grinded so I think its a script or something that adds the icon to stuff and doesn't just add it to vanilla items sadly

Hopefully a solution to this will be found. I'm very surprised that this was added. it seems like an overkill method to change grinding for mats.

Charge Lantern can be destroyed by placing it on the ground

They can be salvaged with the Upgrade Station Mod. Atleast it worked 2-3 Months ago
